Please help our village Preschool
Brockenhurst PreSchool has been at the heart of our community for over 50 years, but in order to continue we need to relocate to a new building on the site of Brockenhurst Primary School.
This move will ensure we have a secure home that is sustainable for the future, and will allow us to keep providing affordable, inclusive early years education for our community.
To achieve our aim we need to fundraise £60,000 for a new building, and now have just £8,000 to go, so if you are able to please support us with a donation.
Planning permission has been granted and we have a fantastic team of builders – we just need to secure our total funding and we will be ready to start work! Full details of planning permission available available here.

We are a friendly PreSchool in the heart of Brockenhurst village, with close links to Brockenhurst Primary School. Our children learn through play in a safe environment with caring, highly qualified staff.
Community Brockenhurst PreSchool has been part of village life for more than 50 years and you will often see us out and about in the community – watching trains at the station, visiting the local care home or on a shopping trip to the village. We love being part of such a friendly village.
Play throughout the day We have a variety of activities both inside and out that are led by a teacher or the child. These include: water play, gardening, cooking, painting, games outside, role play, music, small world play, craft, and sensory play. Our activities are linked to topics, seasons and festivals through the year.
Links to Brockenhurst C of E Primary School Many of our children go on to attend Brockenhurst Primary School, and our close links with the school help them transition into year R. We visit the school for special events and join them at the local childrens Church Service at St Saviours Church every term.
Our curriculum We follow the Early Years Curriculum which tracks children’s progress from birth to the end of reception year in primary school. www.gov.uk/early-years-foundation-stage Within it there are age related expectations so children never work at a level that is not appropriate to his/her age and we differentiate all our activities in our setting. We teach children through stories, songs, games, experiences and play that match children’s abilities and interests.
Our team We have a wonderful team of highly qualified staff who provide a caring, fun, home-from-home environment for the children. They are committed to ensuring every child is happy, safe and that their individual needs are being met.
My daughter absolutely loves her time at Brockenhurst Preschool. The team are fabulous and provide such a warm, caring and nurturing environment for the children. It is such a lovely little community that we are thrilled to be a part of. Long may the good work continue.
